Mary Lou Gnoza and Steve Haberman will hold a CD release party to celebrate their latest musical collaboration from 2 to 6 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Emerald of Siam restaurant in the Uptown Shopping Center in Richland.
The CD, titled Indigo, features traditional favorites, like My Funny Valentine, In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning, God Bless the Child, Angel Eyes, The Man That Got Away and Stormy Weather.
"These are all my favorite songs from over the years while playing with Stevie," Gnoza said. "And, he has styled his playing (in the recording studio) to exactly fit the song and mood.
"The most amazing thing about the CD is that it took one take to get them all recorded. I guess you could ay this has been almost 17 years in the making because Stevie and I have been perfecting these songs for that long."
The album costs $10 and will be available at the event. There is no cover charge and the event is open to all ages.
