Camerata Musica presents the Los Angeles Cello Quartet on Nov. 19.
Showtime is 8 p.m. in the Battelle Auditorium on the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory campus in Richland.
“The ensemble has attracted immediate attention and rave reviews with the rich sound of four cellos playing as a string quartet, absent violin or viola,” a news release said.
The group includes Ruslan Biryukov, Anne Suda, Efrain Del Pilar and Paul Maxwell.
The quartet will play Wilhelm Fitzenhagen’s Concert-Walzer, David Popper’s Suite for Four Celli and the U.S. premiere of Invitation by Alexander Zemchuznikov.
Camerata Musica presents classical chamber music concerts. The group doesn’t charge admission, and instead relies on patrons and sponsorships to keep operating.
The group’s patrons — who donate $100 or more a year — are named in the program and given priority seating before 7:45 p.m. After that, attendees are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
