From kid-friendly Trunk or Treat events to haunted houses packed with serious scares, Halloween-related events are planned around the Tri-Cities.
Here’s a look:
Trunk or Treat
World Life Christian Center is holding a Trunk or Treat from 5 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31. The event will include food, music, carnival games and bouncy houses, including one for kids ages 3 and younger. The event is clown-free. The church is at 3315 W. Court St., Pasco.

First Baptist Church of Richland’s Trunk or Treat is from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. It will include candy, food and games. The church is at 1107 Wright Ave., Richland.

Harvest parties, corn mazes and fall festivals
The County Mercantile in Pasco will hold its annual Harvest Festival through Oct. 31 at 232 Crestlock Road, off Highway 395. It’s open daily from 9 a.m. to dusk, and includes hay rides, a pumpkin patch, a three-acre corn maze, petting zoo, straw-bale maze, straw-bale pyramids, bounce house obstacle course, face painting and a photo booth. The carnival rides are weekdays starting at 3 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to dusk. Live entertainment is offered on weekends.
▪ Cost: $6.95 per person, $4.50 for seniors 65 and older and military personnel with ID; free for children ages 2 and under. Carnival ride tickets and pumpkins are sold separately.
Haunted house events
Confluent Space Tri-Cities is offering a haunted house from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31.
▪ Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and younger.
