50-word statement: I am aware that my decisions affect thousands of lives. Since joining the court I have decided over 600 cases. I bring an open mind, fairness, common sense and a commitment to uphold our Constitution to every case. I am dedicated to treating people fairly, equally and protecting everyone's rights.
Three priorities: My priorities are to continue to dedicate myself to work hard 1) in preparing the cases and to wisely make decisions, 2) to have an open and accessible justice system where people can come to resolve their disputes in a safe and efficient manner, and 3) to have an informed public who understands the three branches of government and the role of the judiciary in achieving and sustaining the ideals of our democracy.
