50-word statement: Three generations of my family worked at Kaiser Aluminum. My parents' union jobs allowed me to be the first person in my family to graduate from college. My Whitworth education taught me the value of serving my community. I'm asking for your vote in order to continue serving our community.
Three priorities:
1. I will spend my campaign listening to the people of the 9th District, in order to serve them in Olympia.
2. All students deserve access to the best education. College tuition rates need to be lower, and financial aid programs need to be increased. The WASL should not be a high school graduation requirement.
3. Public health care should be expanded to include all people. We need to stop rising deductibles and co-pays, so we can all afford to go to the doctor when we are sick.
