A night out just got a bit more fun.
At least if you plan on going to Jokers. The Richland nightclub has upped its game when it comes to big names in comedy, new nightclub equipment and weekend entertainment.
If you’re a fan of comedy, you will recognize some big names that have taken the stage at Jokers, including Jon Reep, Felipe Esparza, Carlos Mencia and Jim Breuer.
“We have some pretty good promoters that help us book top talent,” said Max Faulkner, general manager. It seats 220 to 250 and provides a personal comedy experience.
Along with live comedy comes a full-service bar with premium liquor, a complete dinner and snack menu and premium seating and wait service. The comedy shows are at 8 p.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Like to dance? Jokers offers themed events — Ladies Night on Thursdays, Friday Night Fever and salsa dancing on Saturdays.
“We try and have a theme for each of the three nights,” Faulkner said. “I think people like to have some event to go to as opposed to just going out clubbing. They like to look forward to something fun and unique.”
Jokers recently spent $5,000 on a new full-color laser projector for special lighting on the dance floor.
Attached to the comedy club is a bowling alley and casino, making it a busy one-stop venue.
