TACOMA -- Senior Devonte Luckett scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Cooper Kupp scored 19 to go with five assists to lead Yakima's A.C. Davis (21-2) to a 79-45 quarterfinal win over Bothell (17-10) at the state 4A tournament at the Tacoma Dome.

Notes from 3A boys, girls state basketball
One of the most impressive things I've ever seen was Shaquille O'Neal dunking a basketball during an NBA game on television back in his rookie year with Orlando. We all watched in amazement as the stanchion buckled and slowly slumped to the floor, as if bowing down to The Big Aristotle.
