Ben Franklin Transit team earns top spot

Pratik Joshi, Herald staff writer

Ben Franklin Transit employees Brian Steinwand, Ryan Foley and Josh Rosas took the top spot in the state maintenance competition at the ongoing Public Transportation Conference & Expo in Kennewick.

The competition involved diagnosing two engines/transmissions, a break board system, an ac/heat unit, in addition to a bus inspection and a written test.

This is the first time in 12 years that Transit's maintenance team earned first place in the competition.
