Does your insurance policy cover collisions with animals?

Do you know exactly what your auto insurance policy covers?

Chances are it may pay for damages from a collision, but not if the damage is caused by a bird or a deer on the road.

Experts say with deer mating and migrating season around the corner, you should take a closer look at your auto insurance policy. For example, only comprehensive coverage reimburses drivers for loss due to animal contact.
