A Pasco businessman has been recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration Seattle District.
Stuart W. Fricke is president and owner of White Shield Inc., a consulting firm that provides land surveying, mapping, environmental consulting, and industrial health and safety services around the Northwest.
He has received the 2008 Minority Small Business Person of the Year award for the SBA Spokane Branch.
Fricke is a Native American and member of the Arikara Tribe from the Fort Berthold Reservation in North Dakota.
White Shield was established in 1978 and now employs 65 people in its Pasco and Bellevue offices.
