Got an ugly fence? Enter it in contest

Ingrid Stegemoeller, Herald staff writer

If the fence in your yard causes a cringe every time you look at it, consider entering the Ugliest Fence contest sponsored by Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking to commemorate its 28th anniversary.

The winner will get 100 feet of wood fencing material, the value of which can be applied to another style of fence if the winner chooses.

Labor, gates and caps are not included.

To enter, send a picture and entry form (found at www.ricksfencing.com) to contest@ricksfencing.com or by mail to Ugliest Fence Contest, 4543 SE TV Hwy., Suite A, Hillsboro, OR, 97123.

Those interested can also bring entries to one of six locations, including 9120 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick.

Entries are due June 30 and the winner will be announced July 7.
