Baker Boyer planning to build new Kennewick bank

Ingrid Stegemoeller, Herald staff writer

Baker Boyer Bank is planning a new building in Kennewick.

Sometime in 2010 the office will move out of the Flash Cube building and into a new home near the Toyota Center, said branch manager Wayne May.

The building is still in the beginning planning stage, but May said he expects the office will be at least 10,000 square feet with room to grow.

The design will be similar to that of the new Walla Walla headquarters, with a "community living room" feel.

The bank will continue its focus on business banking and wealth management, May said.
