Inmate who threatened to ‘chop up’ Tri-City judge sentenced to 7 years

A Benton County jail inmate is sentenced to seven years in prison after being convicted of threatening to “chop up” a judge presiding in a separate assault case. The sentence will be served at the same time as his sentence in the assault case, which stemmed from a courtroom attack on another defendant on trial for child abuse.
