Court orders 2 kids back to Tri-Cities in custody battle

Two kids who have been living with a foster family in Minnesota for eight years have been ordered back to the Tri-Cities, Wash., for a six-day visit with their parents. Ella and Ryslan Shved were removed from their Pasco, Wash., home in June 2006 over claims of child abuse by their parents. Olga and Boris Shved have fought to be reunited with their kids.

Homemade smoothies more beneficial than juices

Most juices have had all the pulp removed, so the sugar is more concentrated and the juice contains little if any fiber. Smoothies, on the other hand, maintain their fiber, even though it has been pulverized, and fiber helps slow down the absorption of fructose, the main sugar in fruit.
