Moose alert

Southridge grad Travis "Moose" Mattair is on a tear.

In fact, his bat is so hot that he's appeared twice this week on the Baseball America Prospect Report.

The third baseman for the Lakewood (N.J.) BlueClaws, the Philadelphia Phillies affiliate in the South Atlantic League, recorded his third straight multi-hit game Monday, raising his average to .244.

This is his second season of pro ball. He was selected in the second round of the 2007 draft and opted to give up his scholarship to Oregon State.
