March Madness has got me watching more TV than I've seen in several years.
And this weekend, I finally saw the latest Nike commercial that leads with NFL superstar LaDanian Tomlinson.
My Better opens with the San Diego running back in a news conference setting when he declares, "My power is more powerful than your power."
About 15 seconds into the 30-second spot, there's a segment of Richland grad Hope Solo in a soccer drill.
"My speed is already watching the next commercial," says the goalkeeper of the U.S. women's national team.

Nike's support of Solo is yet another sign that the University of Washington product is outdistancing the controversial and emotional comments she made last summer following then-coach Greg Ryan's debatable choice to start Brianna Scurry in goal vs. Brazil in the semifinals of 2007 Women's World Cup. The Americans lost 4-0.
It's no coincidence Pia Sundhage replaced Ryan in January as head coach as the Americans prepare for the 2008 Summer Olympics in smoggy China.
Earlier this month, Solo backed the Americans to a 2-1 victory over Denmark in the Algarve Cup final.
