SPOKANE -- Brendan Shinnimin had two goals and an assist to lead the Tri-City Americans to a 5-3 victory Saturday over the Spokane Chiefs at Spokane Arena.
The Southridge Suns traveled to Kamiakin Saturday night to take on the braves. Kamiakin won the game 71-40.

Finally, the Best of the West ballots have been tallied and the winners determined. This is a daunting task, and in the end all I have is sheet of paper with numbers on it. By the time Sunday morning rolls around, there are pictures, winners and the next five on the list. That always makes me feel better.
