A new Rasmussen Reports poll has Democratic Gov. Chris Gregoire continuing to lead Republican rival Dino Rossi 49 percent to 43 percent. When “leaners” are added Gregoire’s lead grows to 52 percent to 44 percent.
The Rasmussen polls have consistently showed Gregoire with a little distance from Rossi with the gap slowly closing. Survey USA has shown the race to be closer and last month’s Elway poll had Gregoire leading 47 percent to 39 percent.
You can find the new Rasmussen poll here. The survey of 500 likely voters was conducted Wednesday and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percent.
