I’m off today but am still keeping tabs on election filings and took note that U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers has drawn a Republican challenger.
It’s Clarkston conservative Kurt Erickson. This is the first I’ve heard of the guy but he’s got quite an extensive website where he lays out his positions on an array of issues from abortion to gun rights to immigration to budget policy.
Seemingly out of nowhere McMorris Rodgers now has four challengers. Others include Spokane Democrat Mark Mays, Spokane Libertarian John Beck and Spokane Democrat Barbara Lampert.
UPDATE: The Constitution Party's Randall Yearout from Otis Orchards just signed up to run for the seat, too.
