Federal Way Republican Michael Thompson has set up a campaign to run against state Rep. Mark Miloscia, D-Des Moines.
He’s put quite a bit of material on his website for all to scrutinize and you can find it here. Thompson was once a deep sea diver and then a truck driver before getting into computers. His website indicates he’s also an inventor.
Unless I missed it Thompson doesn’t mention Miloscia on his website, where he rails against public funding for stadiums and transportation projects that aren’t finished until years after taxpayers have been paying for them.
Miloscia was elected in 1998 but while he’s never had to endure a tight race he never got so much as 60 percent of the vote until 2006. Miloscia had raised a little over $10,000 for his campaign through April 30.
