Washington Wine Month at the state liquor stores arrived a month later this year, but it's worth the wait.
State liquor stores traditionally offer some of the lowest prices, and Washington Wine Month offers even more compelling reasons to buy.
Plus, if you buy six bottles or more, you get a 10 percent discount.
I can't list all the hundreds of wines on sale, but here are a few that caught my eye.
I focused on wines that are generally a bargain anyway, plus others on which $10 or more was knocked off the price.
Not all state liquor stores will have all the wines. If you don't find the one you want, ask.
First, let's look at some really low-cost bargains. The first price listed is the regular price, the second is for September.
