Dinner theater opens run Nov. 6 in Kennewick

The spicy and funny dinner theater presentation of Clothes Encounters opens Nov. 6 at the Red Lion next to Columbia Center mall in Kennewick.

Showtime is 7 p.m. Nov. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 with a 2 p.m. dessert show Nov. 15. Admission is $50 for dinner theater and $25 for dessert show. Tickets at Distinctive Properties, 8022 W. Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick and Adventures Underground, 1391 George Washington Way in Richland.

Comedian Brad Upton to perform in Kennewick

Tri-City born and raised comedian Brad Upton is returning home for the holidays. Upton recently appeared at Caesar's Palace as part of the HBO Comedy Festival.

Performances will be at 8 p.m. Nov. 27-28 at Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick. Tickets available at the Toyota Center box office and at ticketmaster.com.

WSU Tri-Cities plans free concert Nov. 6

An Evening of Song, presented by Washington State University Tri-Cities, starts at 7 p.m. Nov. 6 in the East Building auditorium, 2710 University Drive, Richland.

The free concert features soprano Julie Anne Wieck and pianist Gerald Berthiaume. The performance is part of the Liberal Arts Seasons of Events sponsored by the Richland Arts Commission.

Walla Walla Symphony fundraiser set Nov. 7

The Walla Walla Symphony will celebrate its 103rd birthday at a gala fundraising event at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Marcus Whitman Hotel.

Bluegrass band to play Nov. 7 at Pasco church

Gold Creek Station will perform in concert at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at First Christian Church, 1524 W. Marie, Pasco.

LIGO astronomy event set Nov. 7 in Richland

The LIGO Hanford Observatory's free monthly astronomy event is from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Nov. 7 at the observatory on Horn Road in Richland.

Hands-on activities will be offered for the whole family, films, demonstrations and tours of the observatory. Programs are given in English and Spanish.

Walking tours, including the control room, continue from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 14.

Dance studio plans ribbon cutting Nov. 7

Strictly Ballroom dance studio will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon Nov. 7 at the studio, 215 N. Yelm St., Kennewick.

Tri-City artist exhibit set Nov. 7 in Richland

Tri-City artist Deann Kennedy will exhibit her paintings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 7 at Hastings Books & Video store on George Washington Way in Richland.

'I Hate Shakespeare' opens Nov. 9 at Ki-Be

Ki-Be High School will present I Hate Shakespeare starting at 7 p.m. Nov. 9-10 at the high school, 1205 Horne Drive, Benton City.

Admission is $5 at the door.

ACT's 'Clue' opens Nov. 6 in Richland

The Academy of Children's Theatre will present Clue, based on the popular board game, starting at 7 p.m. Nov. 6-7 and 13-14 at the ACT studio, 213 Wellsian Way, Richland.

Christmas craft show set Nov. 6-8 at TRAC

The Christmas Arts & Crafts Show is Nov. 6-8 at TRAC on Road 68 in Pasco. Doors open at 10 a.m. Nov. 6 and 8 and at 9 a.m. Nov. 7. Admission is $6 and is good for all three days.

Get dirty at Mudfest event Nov. 7 in Pasco

Mudfest 2009 is from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 7 at All Seasons Produce and Nursery in Pasco on Road 68.

Event features mud bogs, tug-of-war, 4x4 drags, rock crawling, tough truck competition and live music by IV rock band. Admission is $10.

Cheerleading clinic set Nov. 11 in Kennewick

A cheerleading clinic sponsored by Kennewick's Community Services Department is planned from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 11 in the gym at Southridge High School.

Dance workshop set Nov. 14 in Kennewick

Registration is being taken for Massive Monkees hip-hop dance workshops Nov. 14 at Elite Cheer & Dance Center in Kennewick.
