Fun goes beyond the boats July 25-26

If the boat races aren't your thing, then there's plenty of other events happening around the Tri-Cities on July 25-26 to keep the whole family happy.

Here are some suggestions.

Family events

The Richland Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 25 in the Uptown Shopping Center off George Washington Way.

The Dust Devils take on the Vancouver Canadians at 7:15 p.m. July 25-26 at Gesa Stadium, off Burden Boulevard, Pasco. Cost is $5 for general admission. Tickets are available at the box office.

The Pasco Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to noon July 26 at Fourth Avenue between Lewis and Columbia streets.

Antiques in the Park happens from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 26 at Jefferson Park in Richland, which is across the street from the Uptown Shopping Center off George Washington Way. Admission is free.

Nightlife

Note: These events are for the 21 and older crowd unless otherwise noted.

Brian Holbrook plays a mix of tunes starting at 6 p.m. July 25 at Bookwalter Winery, off Tulip Lane, Richland. No cover. All ages.

Geoff Tyree and Cindy McKay perform a mix of music starting at 7 p.m. July 25 at Preston Winery, off Highway 395 north of Pasco. No cover. All ages.

The Wildhorse Comedy Jam features Barry Neal and Jeremy Greenberg starting at 8 p.m. July 25 at Wildhorse Resort & Casino near Pendleton. No cover.

Greywolf plays rock starting at 8 p.m. July 25 at Dax's Bar & Grill on Lee Boulevard in Richland. No cover.

Boat race swimsuit contest for men and women starts at 9 p.m. July 25 at Jack-son's in Kennewick. Eclectic Approach performs at 10 p.m. Cover is $5.

IV rock band plays starting at 9 p.m. July 25 at Classic Island Casino on Gage Boulevard, Kennewick. Cover is $5.

A Killing Dove and Out From Underneath perform rock starting at 9:30 p.m. July 25 at The Parkade, 207 W. Kennewick Ave.

Farewell Blowout with Mo Syllablez starts at 10 p.m. July 25 at The Beach, 109 W. Kennewick Ave. Cover is $5.

Hot Jazzy Nightz smooth jazz and wine festival is from 7 p.m. to midnight July 25-26 at John Dam Plaza in Richland. No cover for general admission. VIP tickets to the wine garden cost $50 at the gate.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill impersonators perform a tribute show starting at 8 p.m. July 25-26 in the Wildfire Cabaret lounge at Wildhorse Resort & Casino near Pendleton. No cover.

Outdoor LIVE MMA Fights take place from 5 to 11 p.m. July 26 at Kimo's, 2696 N. Columbia Center Blvd., Richland. This is an all-ages event, but there will be a beer garden for those 21 and older. Admission is $25.

Bluezette plays at 6 p.m. July 26 at Bookwalter Winery, off Tulip Lane, Richland. No cover. All ages.

Colorblind and Nasty Jack rock bands perform at 8 p.m. July 26 at Jack-son's in Richland. Cover is $7.

Boat Race Party, featuring Brian Holbrook, starts at 8 p.m. July 26 at The Roxy Wine Bar in downtown Kennewick. No cover. All ages.

IV rock band performs at 9 p.m. July 26 at the The Pub on Clearwater Avenue, Kennewick. Cover is $5.

Plastic Soul plays classic rock at 9 p.m. July 26 at Jack-son's in Kennewick. Cover is $5.

Kite plays at 9 p.m. July 26 at Dax's, off Lee Boulevard, Richland. Cover is $5.

Eclectic Approach performs at 9 p.m. July 26 at Red Lion Hotel, off Columbia Center Boulevard, Kennewick. Cost: $15. Tickets: Red Lion starting July 25 or at the door.
