Remote-control aircraft events planned July 18-19 in Richland

The Tri-Cities Radio Control Model Airplane Club will hold a remote-control aircraft fun day for kids with the ARC of Tri-Cities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 18 at the Horn Rapids Motorsports Complex, on Beardsley Road off Highway 240 in Richland.

There is no spectator fee.

Then from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 19, there will be a radio-controlled airplane paintball shootdown at the complex for everyone. Those who would like the chance to shoot down an aircraft using paintball guns can participate for $10. There is no spectator fee.
