Hollywood actors bring acting workshop to Tri-Cities

Six television actors with Performers House, a Hollywood-based nonprofit theater company, will conduct an acting workshop in the Tri-Cities on Aug. 2-3 at the Academy of Children’s Theater.

Featured actors conducting the clasases are: Jessica Soss, a regular on The Mentalist; Ambreal Williams, an actor and model who’s appeared on America’s Next Top Model; Jobeth Wagner and Ryan Egnatoff, both regulars on HBO’s True Blood series; W. Lee Hill, a regular on the Showtime series Shameless; and Drea Castro, who appeared in the film Act of Valor.

Cost for the workshop is $200 and is open to all ages. Classes are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 2 and from 1 to 8 p.m. Aug. 3. To register, go online to http://www.performershouse.org/workshop.html.

Part of the proceeds from the workshop go the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Performers House, which is a nonprofit agency that helps aspiring actors/performers get a foot hold in the entertainment industry.
