A jury in Maricopa County, Ariz., has found a former member of the Hanford Patrol guilty on 14 counts related to sexual contact with a minor, said Jerry Cobb, spokesman for the county attorney’s office.

Casey Leon Shook is to be sentenced Aug. 14. Shook was a member of the Hanford Patrol before he worked at the Buckeye Police Department in Arizona from 2007-10.

He was found guilty of sexual misconduct with a minor between September 2007 and February 2011.

The jury also found him guilty of threatening or intimidating the child, voyeurism, kidnapping and sexual abuse.

The jury found aggravating factors on some of the counts, which carries the potential for a higher sentence, Cobb said.
