Workshop set July 22 for women businessowners

A free workshop on the contracting opportunities for women-owned and economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses runs from 10 a.m.-noon July 22 at the Tri-Cities Business and Visitor Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd. in Kennewick.

The Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center's class, "Women-Owned Small Business Certification Process," addresses the eligibility criteria and certification process for these businesses. Attendees will receive a copy of forms and checklists needed for certification.
