Army Corps change of command ceremony today in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA -- A change-of-command ceremony will be held today for the Walla Walla District of the Army Corps of Engineers.

Lt. Col. Timothy Vail will assume command of the district as Lt. Col. Andrew Kelly leaves after two years to work at the Office of the Chief of Engineers at the Pentagon. Vail worked most recently in the Office for the Deputy Chief of Staff for Programs at the Pentagon.

The ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at the Marcus Whitman Hotel.
