Thieves target Grant County farms, ranches

Tri-City HeraldJuly 9, 2014

— Thieves have stolen thousands of dollars worth of steel and aluminum recently from properties in Grant County, according to authorities.

Grant County Sheriff’s Office is investigating at least five thefts of livestock corral panels from Moses Lake farms and ranches, said Kyle Foreman, spokesman.

“Right now there isn’t any pattern to the thefts, but we know somebody out there has information on who is stealing the metal and equipment,” Sheriff Tom Jones said in a release.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call the sheriff’s department at 509-762-1160.
