Casey Shook

A former member of the Hanford Patrol is on trial this week in Arizona for alleged sex crimes involving a minor.

Casey Leon Shook was indicted by a grand jury in Maricopa County three years ago on multiple felony counts, including sexual conduct with a minor, sexual abuse, indecent exposure and kidnapping. Court documents accuse him of having sex with a girl younger than 15 between September 2007 and February 2011.

The Arizona Republic reported that Shook, 42, was a former Army Ranger and special forces member who worked at the Buckeye Police Department in Arizona from 2007-10 after leaving the Hanford Patrol.
