Tri-Cities Vein & Vascular Institute receives IAC accreditation

Tri-City HeraldJuly 8, 2014

Tri-Cities Vein & Vascular Institute in Richland has earned a three-year term of accreditation from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, a news release said.

The accreditation is in vascular testing in the areas of extracranial cerebrovascular testing, peripheral venous testing, peripheral arterial testing and visceral vascular testing, the release said.

"Accreditation by the IAC means that Tri-Cities Vein & Vascular Institute has undergone a thorough review of its operational and technical components by a panel of experts. The IAC grants accreditation only to those facilities that are found to be providing quality patient care, in compliance with national standards through a comprehensive application process including detailed case study review," the release said, describing the accreditation as a "seal of approval" that patients can rely."

The institute is at 761 Williams Blvd.
