Hotter than normal week forecast for Tri-Cities

— Temperatures will be hotter than usual for July in the Tri-Cities this week, according to the National Weather Service.

High pressure over the region will create highs about 10 degrees above the normal of 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

The high Tuesday in the Tri-Cities could reach 102 degrees and the high Wednesday could be about 101 degrees.

Thursday should be the coolest day of the week with the high reaching 96 degrees, before highs in the upper 90s and low 100s return through Monday.
