Shakespeare festival set July 19 at Maryhill Museum

The Maryhill Museum will feature a Shakespeare in the Park festival July 19 at the museum on Highway 14 that overlooks the Columbia River near Goldendale.

The Portland Actors Ensemble will act out A Midsummer Night's Dream starting at 3 p.m.

Also happening throughout the day will be a Shakespeare-themed chalk art display from 1 to 3 p.m. The play and chalk art event will be on the grounds at the historic Maryhill Museum, so there is no charge to attend. Admission to the museum is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors and $3 for ages 7 to 18. Regular museum hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
