Benefit barbecue set July 5 in Prosser

PROSSER -- The Prosser Eagles and the Prosser Chamber of Commerce will have a community benefit barbecue from 2 to 6 p.m. July 5 at the Prosser Chamber of Commerce outdoor area, 1230 Bennett Ave.

There will be a drawing, with prizes donated by local businesses. In addition, the Benton County Mobile Incident Center, a firetruck, ambulance and other representatives from local service communities will be on site.

Proceeds will benefit the families of men and women who have been injured or killed in the line of duty. For more information, call 509-786-3177.
