Woman injured in rollover crash on Interstate 182 in Pasco

Tri-City HeraldJune 29, 2014

— A Benton City woman’s car rolled Sunday evening after she swerved to avoid another vehicle that had pulled in front of her on Interstate 182 in Pasco.

Charissa S. Fox, 19, was westbound on the highway at 5:35 p.m. when the other vehicle made an unsafe lane change in front of her 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser, the Washington State Patrol reported.

To avoid hitting that vehicle, Fox veered off the roadway and onto the shoulder and ended up rolling her Chrysler, the report said.

The crash occurred just west of Road 100.

Fox was wearing her seat belt.

She was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland to be treated for her injuries, the state patrol said.
