Letter best: Stop the lop

June 29, 2014

Spring and summer have come, and so have the Tri-City tree loppers.

Around the area I have seen several mature, formerly beautiful, trees that now stand with log-sized stumps reaching into the air. That's a terrible thing to do to a tree!

The poor tree doesn't know what to do, and the life force within it sends out leaves and twigs just wherever. In a few years, some of these trees will look terrible.

Trees are valuable assets: Train and trim them as they grow, read up on pruning and hire certified arborists.
