Learn how technology helping sight impaired

The Edith Bishel Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is playing host to "Technology Beyond Sight" from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Benton Frank-lin United Way building, 401 N. Young St. in Kennewick.

This free event will feature hands-on demonstrations of new assistive technologies and technology advancements, speakers, vendor booths, and information about services and resources available to enhance the quality of life for those with visual impairments. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

This one-day event is limited to 200 attendees. Call 509-735-0699 by June 24 to RSVP.
