— Irrigation water is now available to some of the 4,500 customers Kennewick Irrigation District customers who were left without water after a Saturday canal breach near East Game Farm Road and Oak Street.

All of the repairs were completed and water was being delivered early today. All of the affected properties in east Kennewick and the Finley area should have service by the end of day Saturday.

KID hired Ray Poland & Sons to repair the canal after a breach that officials suspect was caused by a rodent digging a hole, undermining the integrity of the earthen canal.
