Kids can create own superheroes Saturday

Tri-City HeraldJune 26, 2014

Children get a chance to be a superhero for a day from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Columbia Center mall in Kennewick.

With the Simon Kidgit Superhero Academy, kids get to pick their very own superhero or villain alias, create a cape and have a parent or guardian take their photo with a special comic book-inspired backdrop. There also will be an obstacle course and fitness area.

All Simon Kidgit events are free to the public, but Kidgit members will receive a special treat and some exclusive activities during the event.
