Murray coming to Reach opening event Monday

U.S. Sen. Patty Murray will be on hand Monday for a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Reach in Richland.

The hybrid interpretive center, museum, science center and performing arts venue is making its public debut with a flurry of events. The ribbon cutting is at 11 a.m. at 1943 Columbia Park Trail. A luncheon follows.

Tickets are required. Cost is $35 per person for Reach members and $70 per person for others. To buy tickets, go to or call 943-4100.
