Pasco — Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly opened fire on a group of people Tuesday night in East Pasco.
Police say Kenyetta Turner, 29, pulled out a handgun and fired during a dispute at the corner of East Butte Street and Douglas Street.
A 24-year-old Kennewick man was shot in the foot around 8:30 p.m. and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. Officers found more than 20 shell casings at the scene.
The dispute was between two groups of people. Police are investigating if the shooting was gang related.
Police say Cedric Turner, 54, drove the suspected shooter from the scene. Cedric Turner was arrested on suspicion of rendering criminal assistance and booked into the Franklin County jail.
The Pasco man is on a 72-hour hold while prosecutors review the case.
Police have probable cause to arrest Kenyetta Turner for felony assault. He is 5-foot-9, 350 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
