Betty Teel Memorial Concert planned June 29 in Kennewick

Tri-City HeraldJune 25, 2014

The Betty Teel Memorial Concert is at 2 p.m. June 29 at First United Methodist Church, 2 S. Dayton St., in downtown Kennewick.

The concert will feature performances by pianists Justin Chua, a senior at Richland High, and his brother J. Isaac Chua, a 2011 Richland High grad now studying at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y.

The brothers were former students of the late piano teacher Betty Teel. Teel's family donated her grand piano to the Richland Public Library after her death earlier this year.

Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Proceeds will be donated to the scholarship fund established before Teel's death.
