Update: Head-on crash injures 2 children, woman in Kennewick (w/video)

June 24, 2014

— A Kennewick woman and two children were hurt Tuesday in a two-car wreck on Highway 397 and 10th Avenue, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Natausha G. Burris, 27, and passengers Jayna R. Burris, 5, and Lilly Mentor, 4, both of Kennewick, were taken to Trios Health after the 4:37 p.m. wreck, the patrol said. All three were in good condition Tuesday night.

They were headed north on the highway in a 2008 Kia Spectra when a southbound 2002 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Phillip K. Alberti, 34, of Kennewick, crossed the center line and struck their vehicle, the state patrol said.

The patrol blamed inattention.
