Celebrate Umatilla's 152nd birthday June 28

The 2014 Umatilla Landing Days celebration is June 28 at Marina Park, 1710 Quincy, Umatilla.

The event pays homage to the town's 152nd birthday and features a parade, live entertainment by Blue Tattoo, a fireworks show, arts and craft booths and food vendors.

Admission is free, but there is a $3 parking fee.

The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. and winds through downtown Umatilla, ending at Marina Park. There will be demonstrations on robotics, dancing by the Round-Up City Cloggers, historic re-enactments from the early days of Umatilla, as well as tours of the oldest parts of town.

Blue Tattoo performs at 7 p.m.
