Remodeling complete at retirement village

By The Tri-City HeraldJune 18, 2014

Residents of Three Rivers Village in Richland can rest easy now that the remodeling dust has settled.

American Baptist Homes of the West, which owns and manages the 41-unit retirement village at 651 McMurray St., held a grand re-opening celebration Wednesday.

American Baptist Homes began the $2.7 million remodel in August 2013.

The remodel included upgrading the apartment kitchens and bathrooms, the common area dining room and new cabinets and fixtures in the living area and common areas. The building, built in 1980, also was re-sided and the landscaping was redone.

American Baptist Homes also added a new expanded manager's office and meeting room, administration work offices, a wellness room and new entries to the building.
