— A Hermiston woman has been arrested in connection with a wrong-way crash in March that left an Oregon man dead.

Alicia G. Breckheimer, 31, was arrested at her house Monday and booked into the Umatilla County jail on warrants for first-degree manslaughter, three counts of reckless endangerment, driving under the influence and reckless driving.

Breckheimer was intoxicated when she drove the wrong way on Interstate 82 near Hermiston and crashed a Cadillac CTS head-on into a Chrysler 300, killing Robert Henry Baker, according to Oregon State Police. The two-vehicle crash happened around 1:30 a.m. on March 7.

Baker, 66, of Iona, Ore., was pronounced dead at the scene.

Breckheimer was eventually flown to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland where she was treated for injuries and later released.
