Richland council to consider Rachel Road extension

By The Tri-City HeraldJune 16, 2014

The Richland City Council is scheduled to consider the possible future extension of Rachel Road during Tuesday's meeting.

The city's six-year Transportation Improvement Program is on the agenda. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at city hall, 505 Swift Blvd.

The proposed extension of the road has stirred concern in the community about harm to the Amon Creek Natural Preserve.

Though the route of the road extension hasn't been decided, it most likely would cross the preserve.
