Corey Schouviller and Ryan Dearing combined on a 5-hitter, and Noah Garrard had four hits, as the Kennewick Dusters AA defeated the Orofino Merchants 4-3 to win the 16-team School’s Out Slam in Post Falls, Idaho, on Sunday.

Logan Smith added two hits for the Dusters in the title game.

In the semifinals, Kennewick beat the Spokane Crew 4-2. Kaden Enriquez tossed a complete-game six-hitter for Kennewick.

w The Richland AA Knights dropped a pair of games Saturday at the June Jam Tournament in Yakima.

The Knights fell 8-7 to Naches, then lost an 8-6 game to the Seattle Bombers.

Against Naches, Griffey March went 3-for-4, with two RBIs and scored twice, Mike Wilson was 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Jason Webb was 2-for-4 with a double.

Richland’s Lakota Wills and Dylan Wirtzberger each went 2-for-4 against Seattle.
