— A collision between an Audi and a pickup Sunday left a Sunnyside teen injured.

Moises Moreno, 53, of Prosser was driving a Ford pickup south on Highway 241 north of Sunnyside when an Audi four-door pulled in front of him at the intersection with Sli Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Moreno hit the car that had been driven east on Sli Road by Mario Estrada, 19, of Grandview, at 5:44 p.m., according to police reports.

Neither driver was injured. But a passenger in the Audi, Jose Meraz, 16, of Sunnyside, was taken to Sunnyside Community Hospital.

A second passenger in the car, Anna Morales, 19, of Sunnyside, was not injured.

The state patrol said Estrada will be charged with failing to yield the right of way.
