Grandview teen, Sunnyside man injured after car leaves road

A Grandview teen and a Sunnyside man were injured early Sunday morning north of Coulee City.

Juan Ceja, 19, of Grandview, was driving south on Highway 155 about 10 miles from Coulee City when his Toyota Camry crossed the center line and went off the road at 3:15 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.

The car stopped about 40 feet off the road and was upright, according to police reports.

A passenger in the car, Francisco Cacares Quetzeca, 25, of Sunnyside was not wearing a seat belt, according to police reports.

Ceja, who was wearing a seat belt, and his passenger were taken by ambulance to Coulee Medical Center.

The cause remains under investigation.
